Examples of the --stop parameter at different values

What is Stop?

The stop parameter allows you to end the image creation process before it's fully completed. Think of it like pressing the pause button on a movie—you get to decide when to freeze the frame. When you use stop, you're essentially telling Midjourney to halt its work on your image at a specific stage.

By stopping the process early, you might get different effects in your image, such as a softer or less detailed appearance. Experiment with the look and feel of your images by ending the creation process at various stages. Try it out to see what creative results you can achieve!

The default stop value is 100, meaning the image completes fully unless you specify otherwise. You can choose a value between 10 to 100. This value represents the percentage of the process you'd like to stop at.
