Add words to your images with double quotation marks!
Text in Images
When you use Midjourney version 6 or 6.1, you can actually get words or phrases to show up in your images by putting them inside double quotation marks (" "). For instance, if you want to create an image of a cyberpunk cat with a neon sign that says Midjourney, just surround "Midjourney" with quotation marks in your prompt.
Important: You need to use double quotation marks—single quotes or apostrophes (' ') won't work for this.
Best Practices
Text generation works best with the standard Latin alphabet, like English letters. If you stick to shorter words or phrases, you'll have a better chance of getting them to appear just right. It's also helpful to include things like "with the words" or "text" or "written" in your prompt.
If you encounter issues with getting the text exactly how you want it, consider using --style raw
or lowering the Stylize value. You can also use the Editor on web or try the Vary Region feature in Discord to fix minor glitches.
Bad Prompt Examples:
a logo with the company name Boing
put the text 'Hello' in a frame
Good Prompt Examples:
a pastel watercolor landscape with "imagine" written in the clouds
a cartoon drawing of a manual with the words "read the docs" in big text on the pages
